Hooray for Hollywood?

In early April 2004, Rick correctly answered a trivia question on Lite 98 to win a "Fox Prize Pack". He was also entered to win a trip to LA to see a taping of American Idol. We didn't think much of it, because who really wins those things? Well, Rick does!

I was 5 1/2 months pregnant with Abby. The 5 hour plane ride was NOT fun.

I have no idea why Rick took this picture, but I do remember that while we were there we learned by email about the birth of a special little guy....Ryan Sherrill!

We had a lot of fun, but I am definitely NOT a California girl. No grass, hazy atmostphere, and no sweet tea! Lite 98/Fox Richmond were great, they paid for our airfare, hotel, and some spending money! It was a great experience! This was the year Fantasia won, we were there the night Jon Stevens got voted off (remember him--the redheaded guy who was no good?)
